Solidarity fund for people with HIV

The Swiss AIDS Federation Solidarity Fund supports people living with HIV and their relatives in Switzerland who are in financial need due to HIV infection. The applying institution fills out the form and sends it in by e-mail. Applications are examined quickly and unbureaucratically by the Swiss AIDS Federation office.

Only institutions that provide social counselling for people with HIV are eligible to apply, not those affected themselves.

Application to the Solidarity Fund (in German)

People who are living with HIV, who have their centre of life in Switzerland, who are in a financial emergency situation in connection with living with HIV, who are in need and who are unable to provide for their living independently or through support are eligible. There is no legal claim to benefits.

Peer-to-Peer travel costs

Peer-to-peer (P2P) support groups provide a safe and confidential space to discuss living with HIV. They help break the cycle of isolation and enable the sharing of essential knowledge. To ensure access for everyone, Swiss AIDS Aid, through its Solidarity Fund, covers travel costs for people in precarious financial circumstances. Member organisations may submit an application if they offer P2P services that comply with Swiss AIDS Federation standards.
