In 2025, Aids-Hilfe Schweiz will celebrate its 40th anniversary. HIV/AIDS has transformed both world and Swiss history. Thousands of people have died of AIDS in Switzerland, and many lives continue to be affected by HIV today. For 40 years, Aids-Hilfe Schweiz has been dedicated to humanity, care, and the fight for equal health opportunities and sexual self-determination — particularly for people who are still denied these rights today. The Federal Council's goal of eliminating new HIV infections in Switzerland by 2030 is ambitious.

Anniversary Day on June 13, 2025

On June 13, 2025, Aids-Hilfe Schweiz will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a varied program at the Swiss National Museum in Zurich. The day will begin with an interdisciplinary conference and will conclude with an evening celebration and afterparty.

Conference

From 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., an interdisciplinary conference will be held at the National Museum in Zurich. Together with distinguished speakers and stimulating presentations, we will explore the diverse challenges and perspectives around HIV and AIDS. Through panels, exhibitions, and discussions, we’ll shed light on current topics.

Anniversary Celebration

Starting at 5:30 p.m., the anniversary festivities will kick off in the courtyard of the National Museum. Look forward to live music, dance, performances, and an exciting program. The food court and bar invite everyone to relax and celebrate. Everyone is warmly welcome to join us in celebrating this special milestone!
