The FCSTI is an extra-parliamentary commission. It is a national body that advises the Federal Council and the Federal Administration at a strategic level on ways of preventing and fighting HIV, viral hepatitis and other sexually transmitted infections.

The FSIO ensures within its areas of responsibility that the social security network is well-maintained and always adapted to new challenges.
Swiss Hepatitis
The Swiss Hepatitis association maintains a competence network on viral Hepatitis with a focus on public health.
LGBTQ umbrella organisations
The LGBTQ umbrella organisations Lesbian Organisation Switzerland (LOS), Pink Cross and the Transgender Network Switzerland (TGNS) are engaged in the legal and social equality of LGBTQ+ people.
LOVE LIFE-Campaign
The campaign LOVE LIFE is aimed at informing all the inhabitants of Switzerland regularly about HIV/Aids and other sexually transmitted infections and furthermore clarifying how they can protect themselves.
Positive Council
The Positive Council is an expert committee that represents the interests of people with HIV, hepatitis and co-infections.
ProCoRe
ProCoRe is the national network advocating for the rights and concerns of sex workers in Switzerland.
Swiss Coalition for Sex Workers' Rights
The Swiss Coalition for Sex Workers’ Rights is a coalition of national human rights-based organizations and sex worker-led collectives.
Sexual Health Switzerland
Sexual Health Switzerland is the umbrella organisation of the advisory centres for family planning, pregnancy, sexuality and education about sexual health.
