About us

The Swiss AIDS Federation is the umbrella organisation of around 50 organisations that are active and committed to sexual health. Since 1985, Swiss Aids Federation has been committed to helping people living with HIV and runs prevention programmes to stop the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone can live their sexuality with dignity, freedom and equal rights. And we improve the quality of life of people living with HIV and their loved ones.

Organization

The Swiss AIDS Federation plans, coordinates and realises prevention projects in the areas of HIV/AIDS - especially for population groups at increased risk. It is committed to people living with HIV/AIDS, their needs, rights and equality in society. It also acts as a federal reporting centre for discrimination in the area of HIV/AIDS. As an umbrella organisation, Swiss AIDS Federation performs a networking and coordination function throughout Switzerland.
