A wide variety of advice services are available to people living with HIV/AIDS and their families, counsellors, employers, doctors, men who have sex with men, migrants and sex workers.
People living with HIV/AIDS and their families, counsellors, employers, doctors and other interested parties can contact the advice service of Swiss AIDS Federation by phone or in writing with any legal questions directly related to HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Gay promotes the well-being of gay, bi & queer men through community-based prevention work. We are an inclusive service: we offer our services to the trans community as well. Dr. Gay answers questions about (safer) sex, homosexuality, coming out, gay identity, love, relationships, HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections as well as physical and mental health.
The Swiss AIDS Federation functions as the federal reporting office for discrimination and infringements of privacy related to HIV and AIDS. It collates the cases that are reported to it, and forwards them twice a year to the Federal Commission for Issues relating to Sexually Transmitted Infections (CFIST). This survey can be used to uncover and analyse inequalities and to develop appropriate anti-discrimination measures.
