Our aims : Swiss AIDS Federation

Aims of the Swiss AIDS Federation

The Swiss AIDS Federation collects information about HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmittable infections, manages it and places it at the disposal of all members involved in counselling and supervision.

Aims of the Swiss AIDS Federation

  • to prevent new infections with the HI virus
  • to improve the quality of life of affected persons along with their relatives
  • to strengthen the solidarity of society towards HIV positive people, their families and friends

The Swiss AIDS Federation carries out – partly on behalf of the Federal Office of Public Health – several prevention projects especially for sections of the population at increased risk.

For people living with HIV, the Swiss AIDS Federation offers medical and legal information in the form of brochures and regular publications as well as advice.
